As someone previously posted, I'd recommend reverting to the OEM aluminum prop. It's now cost you a whole lot more money than simply having to replace a 70 buck new prop. The stainless props give better hole shot and cruise, but if you hit something all the damage passes to the gears; there's no give and bend like on the aluminum props. That's coming right from my outdrive specialist, as I had to replace my Alpha 1 Gen II drive last year on a boat I just sold.
