GA I think they gave the forklift some Tylenol and it will be ok.
Seriously the trailer pulled very nicely, didn't even know it was back there.
GM primer is on the horizon, but lots of grinding welds and bondo first. I like to clean up the welds and bondo them just so there are no places for rust to start. Plus I want to dress up the outside frame rails and and tongue to look nice. I also have seam sealer for the bottom side of the frame rail where the c channel meets the plate...and I have the Eastwood stuff to spray inside the frame rails.....and lots of drain holes to drill,. After the bondo, etching primer on the bling parts, high build primer, then off to the paint booth. At that point more etching primer on bare metal and hopefully paint, not going to say what day, otherwise it won't happen!
One other note, the galvanized frame is still galvanized, they just cleaned it up. So the original stuff has an extra layer of protection. The self etching primer should bond nicely to the steel and galvanized material. I'm using DuPont's Nasson single stage urethane as the top coat, 2K primer for filling and their etching primer to condition the metal.
