I was at a car show in CT this weekend and came across a few cars that had PPF (Paint Protective Film). It seems like vinyl wrap, but more durable. I also understand there are versions of PPF for boats.

Just wondering if anyone has looked into PPF for their boats or any other related information to share?

A couple of my Tundras had that, something the dealership applied when the trucks hit the lot. For the length I had the trucks, it seemed to hold up fine. Really wasn't noticeable unless you ran your hand across the truck then you'd find the lip of the clear protector they applied. I don't have a long term longevity report for you though as I was turning the trucks in 2-2.5 years into a 3 year lease.

On a boat? I'm not so sure I'd go that route unless it was one of those glitter bomb glass boats. Then maybe I could see doing waterline up just to protect the finish.🤷‍♂️
