Here is a Smith Mountain Lake Largemouth caught on a shad; it was 95F that day. It was caught 10' down in water that is 75' ft. deep. Under the Halesford Bridge. It went a tad over 3 lbs.

Those are some nice looking fish guys.

Here's a few pictures of some large mouth bass I've caught. Not the biggest fish I ever caught. I've caught much larger stripers, a few halibut. My personal best was a 7? foot Marlin when I was stationed on Guam.

The first bass was caught on a small Rapala crank bait. The second was caught with a Rooster Tail (my favorite spinner bait).

2 of them were Lake St. Clair in MI/Ontario. the other is from Lake Chautauqua in NY.
The one in my avatar is a PA muskie. From the Allegheny River. It was a tad over 40 LBS.
Ive gotten another over 40 but can find any pictures of that one. (figures)

two summers ago I caught a 29&1/2 inch Walleye in northern Wisconsin. That same summer I caught a limit of 5 small mouth bass with the small one 18&1/4 inches and the bigest on 23&3/4 which is really big where i come from. The DNR man said the big one was about 24 years old.As soon as I can figure out how to get them on here I will post them.

Here's some Coosa River Crappie I caught last week while long line trolling 2" jigs in 4' of water.

We got 43, with none under 10 1/2".

It took us a few hours to find them, but when we did it was nonstop action with one or two fish every pass!

Water temp was 58*.

Here's my PB Large Mouth. Caught from Oroville Lake in Northern California. That was the last bass I've caught as I moved on to other species, but I won't soon forget the fight.

Saltwater Sheepshead (Convict fish) are excellent table fare!!!... if you ever ate one you'd throw rocks at Walleye and Perch!

Freshwater Sheepshead (freshwater Drum) are considerably less desireable and are widely considered "Trash fish"!

The lakes in my neck of the woods are still frozen, so I decided to hit the Big Manistee river for the spring run of steelhead. Landed one and lost one.
