Last year, prefishing for the firemen's tourney in tawas. It weighed in at like 6 1/4 pounds or something like that. Then we go out and only caught a total of around 8 pounds with three fish. Go figure.

The bass are from the lake I live very close to(Lake Tholocco). I got shown up by the wife that day pretty bad!

The catfish are from Lake Eufaula. I was actually trying to catch bass(see spinnerbait) and got a cat instead! I just switched over at that point and caught 3 more cat's!

I still haven't figured out how to really fish for bass on a big lake I don't know!

I caught this little feller and a bunch of others on Lake Powell this last Saturday. Camera died before we could snap more pictures. :facepalm:

Man! That 9.6 lb largemouth would be a state record here in Minnesota, and by almost a pound. We grow lots of bass up here, but they don't get to 10 lb. I envy you folks in the southern states....well, sorta. You don't have big northerns or muskies.

Here are more reasons to envy South FL.,we even have a few longnose gar this one is 16lb,49inches , huge grass carp28lb..,9.9ounce largemouth,6lb "lukanani", .Plus an 18lb channel cat,on a live brim, large brim . lukanani.. is what they call peacockbass in Guyana Just added a better image of the longnose gar enjoy

Well if i could get some old pics scanned i would have a couple trophies to show off. My biggest bass was 27 3/4" long and 12+ lbs. and biggest cat was at least 50lbs but those were both over 10 years ago when i was in highschool. i dont freshwater fish a whole lot now that i live on the coast but heres a few recent pics.... some specks, a spotted tilapia, a mayan cichlid, a couple bass, and a little peacock bass

I caught this one the first day out this year, 1st week of may. We caught three that day and this was the largest... 5+ lbs?? Didn't weigh it but it was 22". 7" - motoroil power worm in 15ft of water at Piny Run res in Md.

I`m lucky to have a pond at my doorstep full of pan sized speckled trout......I flyfish for them from my kayak and can easily catch a dozen in less than an hour !!!
