PS- The big one in the middle is mine. Caught the biggest one on the boat that day.

here's a mix of walleye. lake trout, small mouth, steelhead, perch, and burbot..

The big one on the left is a lake trout... The two others, yes they kind of look like snake heads, are burbot... aka: poorman's lobster, freshwater cod, lawyers, eel pout (sp)... Ugly and not the funnest to clean but dang good eating.. we normally get em through the ice at night in Feb & Mar.. but this year the ice wasnt good so my 14' aluminum had to pull double duty as an icebreaker

Lake Trout

Forgot the scale. I practice catch and release, so I got them back in the water immediately after the picture. The pike was maybe 4 pounds? The Lake trout was maybe 5 lbs or so.

- the trout was caught in only 8 ft of water! the pike in about 4 ft.

got my quota today at the lake. One is a bit small, but the rest were nice for what this lake usually gives....which is jack sh**, LOL! It was just stocked Thursday though

These are the first two fish "in my new to me" 1979 Ranger and my first for the season.

It was a perfect day, boat ran well, caught several fish, and drove the boat onto the trailer on the first try!!

There's limited bass fishing out on the west coast, so catching even one small bass is bliss to me!
