Just got this 1980 SS 160 a few days ago. I am trying to make a photobucket account to link pics. There has got to be an easier faster way to upload pics!

You're on the right track. In my opinion photobucket is the fastest way to do pics. I added two of yours to your post using the IMG code links photobucket provides.

Nice boat! A 16' SS with a 70 JohnnyRude is a fantastic combination.

Looks like that things stays in the garage, pretty clean for a 20+ year old boat:)

Welcome aboard Straightleg. What motor are you running on that rig?

Yes, I spent a few years restoring it. I worked on it here and there every week because I lacked funds to complete it faster. As for the Honda I received a $1000+ for college graduation and put it down on the new BF60 so my monthly payments are real low.
I did all the work myself... upholstery, paint, wiring, rub rails, trailer, engine etc. It was a lot of fun! A big THANKS to the iboats Starcraft forum for getting me through this restore.
This Holiday was left in a Field uncovered for a very long time in Colorado. I basically only had a "very holey" aluminum hull and a completed rusted through trailer, EVERYTHING was replaced.
Thanks for your reply!

Re: Post a pic of your starcraft!

I bought this 1972 SS 160 a few weeks ago. I had one person ask if I felt right only paying $400 for it. I do. It has a 65ESL72S on it. Runs but I need to replace the water pump before I get out and do some serious boating. I figure I can run it for a few years then restore it and paint it the color I want it to be. I can't wait to get her out on the water.
