Powersledder, nice Jet you've got there. Welcome aboard.

Looks like a late 60s-early 70s since the windshield is curved. That outboard is the same vintage.

I can't believe how nice that data plate looks after all these years. Not a scratch on it:D

Re: Post a pic of your starcraft!

Thanks for the welcomes. I figured from looking at the brochures it might be about 1966? The Johnson on the back is a 1971 but I'm having trouble getting spark and I haven't figured it out yet.

Yes the boat is in really great shape, especially for what I paid for it. Provided I can get the motor going without much work, with the gas it cost me to pick it up and the cost of some cleaning supplies I should still have less than $500 into it:D

What a sweet combo you have there, a color-matched 16' SS w/ 70hp 'rude.:D:D

I want the same motor for my 16, any color:)

She runs about 34 mph and a pretty smooth ride. Not always dry :)

Taking her out tomorrow to try a new lake and the fishfinder

<<Drooling and jealous>>:) Man, that is in fantastic looking shape, great buy. I'm going to guess post-1964 because of the windshield and seats. My '64 doesn't have the side windshield supports and it had bench seats that I think were original.

Powersledder --------- Dumb question ---- but is there a kill switch on the helm that has not been reset. Its a black thingy with a forked end to keep the circut closed to the Motor for spark.Usually a red curled up cord on it. I had a friend that got towed back to Anacorts.Wa 5 miles and the marina guy took the fork snaped it into place and good as new. Its a man overboard thing that have ben used for years.

Got the motor running, everything went great today, took the boat to an inland lake for testing and then out to Lake Superior. Topped out at 30mph.

Wow, looks in great shape. Do you know what year the motor is? You should enjoy that setup.

Same interior as my 1975 Holiday 22 ft with a 200 O/B very fast. My 22 is also all origional. Havent changed a thing as it is solid. Only difference is the seats on mine have the SC logo thing on each seat back it also has a full width rear seat, You will be long term delighted. I also have a 16 SS that is going to Idaho to be at home on Lake Pend Orielle 7 mile wide and 45miles long and 2100 feet deep.
