Watermann, Gotta love the Royal Blue compliments of Tremclad (Rustoleum) lol and yeah I really like that shade. jjacobs007, a lot of the smaller old ply and glass fishing boats are painted light blue around here, mine definitely sticks out.
Funny you noticed the hornets nest. It was a complete diaster. Decided to completely remove the old wiring and start from scratch. Had some soft spots in the floor as well that needed to be removed. Wife was beating her head against the wall when I brought this beauty home. She lacks the forsite in seeing her potential. But I dont need to explain that to this community. When i get her out of storage I'll post some updated pix's of the rebuilding process that will include a new arch, swimplatform and interior.
I can personally atest that some spouses (AKA the Admiral around these parts) have done & said much, much worse when a less then perfect, water ready, boat was dragged home.
