We had a great time out there today !! it was fun catching and not just fishing,

hahaha when mel threw me the poll she said something like that thing could swallow my arm hole !!! hahahaha

the motor just went click click ever time i turned the key !! that was the only bummer of the day but we got over that petty quick !! wonce we started catching fish !!!! John

cool can't wait till next summer to hang out with ya, that is if you don't mind hanging out with a mailman/car salesman/bodyman (me) and a nursing assistant (the wife) lol

Well, I managed to get out for one last trip. Beautiful on the lake, but I didn't take any pictures....I was too busy fishing! We caught a couple of small bass, and then a couple of nice northerns and I managed a small, but edible sized walleye trolling with a crank bait that's been good for Northerns on this lake....I didn't know there were Walleye in there!

My last hurrah! for the year though. boat goes into storage.

One thing about that starter John, you may have just overheated it. We had that problem on a Johnson once. Once it cooled down, it turned right over. Gotta make sure you lube those lube points INSIDE the cowl too! I always keep a small bottle of 3 in 1 oil in my waterproof tool box just in case. I'm sure you'll figure out how to get that tower of power running again. You gotta! I may just end up with one of them suckers for my boat...I gotta have someone to ask the hard questions to!

Well, I managed to get out for one last trip. Beautiful on the lake, but I didn't take any pictures....I was too busy fishing! yep thats what i was thinking also , it has done that before that why I keep trying her , But after we sat out there for an hour and still wouldnt kick the starter, I was starting to really worrie !!! I even tried her after we got home , just click , click $$$$$%$^^%$%$$ lol

OHHH She will be running by next spring !!!! with new paint and power trim, which i got off the old motor !! a 90 hp merc!!!

Well red you know if we dont know about it , we will find out form someone on here that does !! so ask away !! lol

I was just thinking I really want to power spray her before i put her in the garage , so this is a good time hope to have a few more days in the 60's here !!John

its been so long since i worked onmy merc ob ive forgotten how the starter works .....if i remember correctly....when mine did that ...the starter bolts has just come loose...and it has started to bind....so....just click....click........no varoom !.......

but time for your new sweety to get some attention....... ya ready for the itch?

OOOHHH MAn thats might be something there Ward , I had the cowling off when i was out there the other day, and when i was looking at it One of the nuts is missing on the bottom of the starter, and the other one was loose and almost off !!!! I put the one back on but couldn't find the other !!! I will have to check that some more !!!

OOOOH MAn got everything out of her today and got the power sprayer out and on the frist pull , I pulled the cord right out of her !! But guess what she fired up so i went at her till i ran out of gas !! man a lot of sh## came off her even most of the epoxy that i dripped on her !!!

Now you got me thinking there ooops , I will have to check her out in the morning before work and see if i can find the problem !!! I really dint want to fog her by pulling the cord !!!!!! ! would like to just run her out of gas !!!!!I got two full tanks that i am just itching to burn up !!! hahahaI just sea foamed them !!

Heck if thats all it is I will take her out one more time !!! at least !! hahahah

Man that power sprayer really cleaned her up !!!I will get some pics up If i can get a good shot of the couple of spot i missed !!! John

I drained the camper here last week !!! took the compressor out and blew the lines out !! John

Well guys , what a night , or what a day , dont know what i was thinking but thought I had to be to work at 11;30 , shoould have been there ae 9;00 !! Ohhh well , then got a phone call at 5;30 say that Brew had been hit by a car !! the wife said that the kids told her that he wasnt walking !!!! So i booked home and hes up running around , got a little cut on he's hind leg, just a scrach really !!!! I made him lay down and checked him all out !! hes fine !!!! hes going to be sore !!but no broken bones He's a hard headed Hunkey just like me !! Hungairain !!!

I was going to head back to work , when the wife pulled in , we both were working !! then the wife said it was going to rain all weekend and the snow monday !! and I got to work all the rest of the week till 8 pm , so that was the end of work tonight !!

We got the motor off and got the boat on the jack stands in the garage!! man thats going to be a pain sanding the bottom of the hull !! its only like 18 inch off the ground !!1 glad i have a mech dolly !! I am going to have to put some boards under the stands !!

And this weekend or early next week I am going to build a motor stand !! Ohh man just thought of this , how am i going to fog the motor , guess i will just have to do it on the stand , and use the pull cord !! I never did get to check the starter out today !! a nap before work sounded good !! yea sleep right threw when i was spossed to be at work !! I am usally never late !!

OHH yea and tomorrow I got a interview at a different store , it closer to home by about a mile , but the really big thing is that its a new store and in a lot Better neiborhood !!! I am a manger but I really want to get out of this store , I did my tour of duty here , Its really bad , I had to tackel shop lifters , more then once , 3 times in the last month , and one of the guys here got maced last week !! yea by a shop lifter!!! we got to kick all kind of Bums out !! and dont get me started on the guys breaking into the dumpsters !! So wish me luck , I not getting my hopes up too much , theres 3 more store comming open by the end of the year !! John
