All I know is this is gonna dilute from the already piz poor showing in the West. I actually had Boomer considering a trip down. The thread is so many pages down now that I have to work just to bump it . . . What's wrong wid us down here? Oh yeah, we're laid back . . . :} Think it has something to do with picking Easter as the tartget date? :=

Maybe, just maybe, we should move both to SacTo, although that would be a monster tow for everybody 'cept Boatist and a few others . . . hmmmmmm. Maybe Shasta as Skinnywater suggested, but I'd definiteley lose the Az crowd.

Ok how's about just a Reigonal event, leading up to a west coast Extraganza.

My thought's were simple, a bunch of people could attend a regional kind of thing in the Portland area or Seattle it's only a 2-3 hour drive either way. Poor old crunch would have the longest haul. The San Juan's would be pretty kool or and there is also a few nice reservoirs just north of port and south of seattle.......

Dunno any opinion's here, i guess flexability is the key. As to invite's......... hell it's open to all... I would think..8)

No, I was mostly kidding, except that maybe we should combine. The fact is that there is a lot less concetration of members in the West and the tows will be very long if we combine. I am going to rethink the date, but no need to worry. Like I said, the date I picked etc. is the biggest issue. Don't change anything at this point . . .

Hmmm Sounds Great ta me. Bro Haut or Crunch can watch the ol' SUV for me, (or I could hide it after launchin' the ol' boat). 'Course I could pretend ta be BoatBuoy from Tennesse all full a luv n' all, (then nobody would key the SUV ['cept for maybe Boom n' he probably wouldn't key anything jus' grab me by the nose n' slap me n' all: jus' kiddin' BB]). Then nobody would pick on me either, (which would not be any fun at all: [forget that strategy])! My sweetie n' I do have a time issue with this fairly new business that OWNS us n' all, (so we would need to plan very carefully). Columbia River sounds great to me. I used ta ski up by Umatilla years back or a li'l farther East on the ol' Snake, (very nice n' very warm n' flat calm there too, [the Columbia was much colder: burr]). If we ever did the San Juans there is a small island, ('bout the size o' mine, [ol' Ruby Ridge Island he he]) on the Southern part of the East side o' Orcas Island. I think it is called: "Doe" Island. It is a State park with a dock and sheltered morage n' a turlet, (no shower though). When, how long, do we sleep in our boats, et al? Count me in if I can schedule it. I would Luv ta learn more from some o you folks, n' put faces with the names, (might make me more respecfull n' less arogant; [Nah jus' kiddin', ol' Murky luvs to taunt Libs, n' it would be very hard ta stop that])! JR

How about Ten Mile Lakes?

I know... I KNOW, that’s where I live, but it is centrally located for Northern California and all of you that live in Lib country.

I hope Lube Dude comes around as he knows a lot more about the lakes than I do, but it has over 175 miles of shore line and is the premier Bass fishery in Oregon. It’s a natural lake so you don’t have to worry about knocking your lower unit off on a stump, and if the weather is nice... some of the best ocean fishing to be had on the coast from a very easy bay to get out of.

Just a thought.
