Hi all. I have a mercury 200, 20hp outboard. I can’t find any info on the serial number, can someone find me the year and a repair manual?Canadian Serial number is 7077796. The rest of the data plate is wore off, those are the only stamped numbers. Thanks. Also, if there’s a parts break down that would be good too. Spun the prop and leaked all the foot oil out.

I guess I will have to do some more google research for better Canadian parts websites. Thank you for the help!

I’m in northern Ontario Canada. I have a local dealer, I just assumed they wouldn’t really be able to help because of the age. But I will give them a shout next week.

Most repair shops in small towns have disappeared.----Support them while you still can.----Give them your serial # and in a small town they should help you !!-----Northern Ontario is fairly big.-----Takes me 2 days solid driving to get to Manitoba from my place.

Those decals were used in the 81 / 82 model years.----Why do you say it is a Mariner serial number?

ZIMBABWE Africa.... Made in the USA but still I can't find any specs about it... Going in a few hours testing props and I think the prop I was given is to big... 17 pitch just looks huge.

This motor uses the same pistons / rings / rods as the 2 cylinder 40 HP , 3 cylinder 65 HP and 6 cylinder 115 HP.-----About 66 cubic inches (1100 CC ) displacement.----What specs are you looking for?
