Man those things are ugly. I tried to like 'em, honest I did. I even tried 'em on. They're light and squishy but they just didn't feel right. I was going to get some for just around the house.

Anyway, they're not supposed to stink when worn sockless. They don't absorb anything and have an anti-microbial treatment.

The original design was made for boating (non-marring, non absorbing, bouyant etc...). Interesting success story too http://www.crocs.com/company/history.jsp
