See, this is the misconception that the librals have drilled into everyones head!<br /><br />The only duty a police officer has in the USA, is to uphold the law, THAT IS ALL !<br /><br />To protect and serve, is a motto the police departments have adopted, not the laws, that has grown into this delusion of abusive powers that police departments have inflicted upon us all, in the illusion, that they are protecting you! If someone breaks into your house at 3AM, and is pointing a gun at you, who's responsibility is it?<br /><br />Let me inform you...<br /><br />It is the duty of the individual, to protect him/her self, not the police!! That is the reason for the Second Ammendment!<br /><br />If that was the case, that the police are to protect each individual, then we would have to have a police officer's at each and everyones house, one police officer for each person who lives in said house!! How else could the police gaurantee protection? If the police cannot provide a gaurantee that there be a police protection for every individual, every second, of every day, then they are derilict in their duty and should be eliminated! <br /><br />The costs of putting a police officer in every home is so cost preventitive, that is the reason for the Second Ammendment to be added to the Constitution in the first place!<br /><br />The duty of the military, is to protect and defend the Constitution and the American way of life, from enemy
governments or insurgents from abroad, or in rare instances, domestically,
NOT CRIMINALS! This is the purpose of the military, not to crack down on the crack dealers outside of your home! <br /><br />If the police were to do their job, and uphold the law, instead of turning a blind eye to crime, and trying to protect you from yourself, just maybe then the crack dealers would no longer be selling their products on your streets, as per the laws that are already written!<br /><br />Until the police can gaurantee each and every person will be protected, each and every second of the day, in any situation, the Second Ammendment stays!<br /><br />All I know is that I cannot afford to have a police force like that, nor would I want one!<br /><br />I also know, that if an intruder enters my house at 3AM, I will not have to worry about where the police are, because the Constitution gaurantees that I have a right to protect myself, and I will blow a hole, right thru that intruders head, with my AR-15, which is always, right beside my bed, along with a Remington Automatic 12 gauge, as a back-up!<br /><br />After the intruder has been eliminated, then I will call the police to uphold the laws that this intruder has broken!<br /><br />This is why I will fight, to the day I die, for the Second Ammendment!
