To be real honest with ya' poppop, my first reaction is carve and part. Imperial wasn't a bad boat, they had a couple of hulls I really liked. But, that one looks like it's been let go a LOOOOOOONG time. You could recover some money from the trailer and the sterndrive, junk the hull and probably find something similar pretty easily.This was given to me. Do I fix it up or do I cut it up?

Well...... Rather than cutting through the large waves with a single V like a knife edge, a tri-hull more or less hits the waves with 3 V's (VVV) like a brick wall.
