Does nyloboard need additional sealing before installing as a deck surface?
It appears to be about $5 per square foot more than marine plywood, but if you didn't need to spend money/time on sealing the material, it would be worth considering IMO.
Here is a link to there website. From the details on the site, they say the nylodeck board can span 24" joists. Most decks are built on 16" joists. So from that info, I would say it is pretty strong.
