Every since all the hurricanes down here I must say I'm loading up for next year...Do I like spam?... not really but I can use it as a meat substitute in a pinch of need and I can pretty much bet that knowone will eat it before then. So I'm buying it all the time.....stacking the cans neatly.......preparing now instead of a week before a blow.<br /><br />Meats Meat, a mans gotta eAT!

I love venison, y'all are making me hungry. <br /><br />We do have a friend that deer hunts and he <br />blesses us with summer sausage stuffed with jalapeno<br />and cheese sometimes. But he never shares the back <br />strap or loins.<br /><br /><br />Oh yeah, its Tenessee style pulled pork bbq, cole <br />slaw, corn bread at my house tonight.

Wife ?!?!?! I do the real cookin at my house. She's not even gonna be there. I did the tenderloin kabobs sunday and lastnight along with some chicken wings on the grill.

Have you never heard of the Order of Manly Men!!<br />They even have a yearly festival in Cle Elum Wash. -- at least they did a few years ago. I looked for my hat, but couldn't find it right this minute -- very special to belong to the Order of Manly Men and able to prove it!<br /><br />It's all about SPAM -- even crown the Spam Queen.<br /><br />Ratfish -- I'll admit not only to eating it; but, as a boatman/chef on river trips on the Yampa, Green and Colo. rivers, I've served it in dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Keeps your bowels loose when your off your normal feed too.

Why, just last night, while I was huntin, I witnesses a whole herd of Spam feeding in an alfalfa field. I carefully belly crawled to within 30 yards of the largest Spam, which I would say was at least a 12-point Spam, (rare for these parts). Anyway, I slowly raised my bow, and released the arrow, and watched that arrow sail over that Spams back. Wouldn't ya know it, Spam fever had set in and caused me to miss the shot. Dang it. Oh well, I went home and shot the neighbors goat.
