Thieves cannot stand them did they take yours? I hope not.We have thieves stealing catalytic converters at the local launch ramps … scum bags!
Nope, didn't get mine. Fortunately I was going out of the local locked marina that is closed for the season but my brother works there and has a key. But 3 of the 6 public launches were hit, one twice as well as a few other places in the area. It was reported that a white van was involved. Last week a white van was given a "safety check" when 2 people were found sleeping in it at Penn State University (25 miles away). In the process of the safety check the officers looked into the back of the van and found a bunch of catalytic converters ... 6 of them were off of University vehicles. The launch ramps haven't been hit since. Hoping those were the culprits.Thieves cannot stand them did they take yours? I hope not.
Nice job there at least you got out there. It is so cold and the wind here is horrible so no go for me until the wind slows down I do not mind the cold if the wind is not blowing full force. Glad you guys got out looked like a nice day on the water...We got back on the water today. It's been since July of last year for the boy and myself, but nearly a year since my wife has been on the water.
The boy got the first fish, a pickerel. I caught up a short time later with the first bass of the year.
My wife got skunked, but I let her have a pic with my bass because it looks so much bigger when she holds it!
Air temp was cool early, but rose nicely and it was about 72 degrees when we started catching fish. The water temp ranged between 64 and 68 degrees.
