Heck, I'd love it too! I don't mind snow and cold, it's just 6/7 months of it is too much for me. 3 would be plenty....:smow::laugh:

We haven't had much snow for so long now, I think I might be phased of of snowmobiling. It's been I think 4 years since we had a blockbuster snow year here in my two parts of MN where I sled. My sleds are now ancient but barely used.

3 years ago we had tons of snow and cold. That year I plowed on May 1st. Great sledding, so I heard, but I was too tired from plowing to even think about going out.

Lately the trails haven't been real good until late Jan/Feb.....

That's funny!

Ok seeing how it is November now something has to give. The rains usually begins in a week or so. Frost usually hits the middle of November. But since we are in down is up and up is down when it comes to weather, who knows. Still stuck in warm, dry mode. TWC said one time a couple of months ago that a high pressure system has been stalled over SC all Summer. Usually it is out in Bermuda pumping in Moisture. Moves back and forth. Just stalled is not good

Georgia's deer rifle season is presently in season. I use to hunt decades ago, but I don't think I could sit in a deer stand with 90 degree weather. And haven forbid you harvest a deer in such weather.

The better news today is that they are now talking about only two more days of such high temps and we will get a cold front moving in to give us normal fall temps. I'll believe it when I see it. In the entire moth of November we had only .2" inches of rain.

It has been so dry that bottled water is sold in empty bottles. They are marketing it as dehydrated water now.

Mn deer hunt starts Sat. Talking 60. That's unheard of. Shoot a deer, it better get in a cooler right away or better start cutting it up....

I am starting to get rain withdrawals LOL. No rain. No rain in the forecast anytime soon. Dusty under the lawn. Small trees and bushes dying or dead. Lake shrinking at a faster pace. Very warm days and cool nights. I have done moved to Vegas folks!!

So dry now that the Spittlebugs are spitting dust, Earthworms look like string. Even the weeds aren't growing now.

We've had a few passing showers this week in Central Florida. Plus Hurricane Matthew gave us a couple inches of rain earlier in the month.

when I was a kid we could go anywhere on a snowmobile, the snow was higher then most fences. Now its rare to get 2 or 3 weeks where there is enough snow to even go on the old roads, forget over fences. Most people on my end of the province have sold their sleds, myself included. The west coast of the island still gets pretty good snow but here where I am its more rain now. At least I don't have to shovel rain.......

Interesting - the State of TN has now entered a "state of emergency" due to drought.

This morning on our local news, they stated that last time we had an inch of rain was back April 1, 2016. And the last time we had a half inch of rain was in early September. I still have my sprinkler system running every other day to keep the grass from dying. I don't want to replant or seed the lawn ever again. Most of all my neighbors' lawns are totally gone now. I see them moving hoses around their yards to hopefully keep any lawn. But it isn't enough or working. They elected to forgo a sprinkler system when building. I installed my own decades ago, still working strong.

Can't remember the last rainfall, it was only a trace. What's a rainy day?

I hope we get enough rain to fill the lakes back come springtime, to dampen all the wildfires and water the farms. There are no signs of this drought breaking anytime soon.

We got some drizzle this morning!! Thought i was seeing things for awhile there. 20 or 30% chance for this drizzle stuff to continue off and on today and tonight. Who knows we may even get a puddle. Not enough to put the wild fires out.or put a dent in the drought. Maybe it will be a new trend? Last week couldn't hardly breath for all the smoke. Wind blew that out yesterday. I just have to go outside and touch it to see if it is real or my eyes playing tricks on me

Yea we too got some very very very light drizzle. I think that is what is falling out of the sky. I really don't know for sure since I haven't seen anything falling out of the sky in just a long time. But at the rate it is falling, if it continues, by dark it could be enough to fill a thimble.

Rained pretty hard off and on during the day but by 2 pm the magical stuff was gone. The dreaded Sun returned. Lake still looks awfully depressing. We got some Puddles gm280. Maybe the high pressure system that has been sitting over Upstate SC all Summer is breaking down?. Not so sure because the rain started fading for no reason. Radar looked a lot worse than what showed up
