Ranger are -2 goals (shorthanded giveaways) on power plays during the playoffs. Nash and Richards are mediocre at best with huge long term contracts. The team looks defeated and cannot manage the puck thru the center ice. Pens are fast and pass like they have played together for decades. Hoping for some kinda spark Friday night to get a game 6 to watch but am not very confident. Like the saying goes... at least we're not the Islanders!

Hey Angus, I will bet you a fishing trip tonight is the end for the Rangers. You win and your Rangers play another night, I owe you a fishing trip on Lake Raystown. I win, and I will be up for a fishing excursion with you. What do you say? Remember, Rangers will be playing in the Consul Energy Center ... and Pens have been playing inspired hockey for a change, but they could revert back to their end of season ways ... hmmm ...

I would love to take you up but I fear it's a fools wager to bet on the Rangers after what has been displayed recently. You are still welcome to stop by for visit if you are out east and wet a line. You could tour the Academy and hitch a ride up the river with me to NYC too! My son usually watches hockey playoffs with me, but at 16, he is smitten with a young lady and out for the evening. Just me, the 125LB lap dog, and a fridge full of liquid relief! Go Rangers!

That is why I figured it was an easy wager ... because you are always welcome here in central PA, angus, as I figured I would be if in your neck of the woods ... .

I got stuck in the office ... just had a phone call a classmate and father of a parishioner is in the hospital with major artery blockages. He is scheduled for a triple by-pass on Monday, so I need to spend some time with them tonight and another gentleman needs some assistance, so I will wait for him before I head to the hospital. Guess I will be checking the score on the internet till I finally get home ...

angus would have won the bet ... from what I heard, the Pens went back to playing uninspired hockey and the Rangers were fighting for their lives. Rangers totally outplayed the Pens. That gives them hope and a chance, Pens better put them away Sunday night in New York, or it could be ugly. 16 times the Rangers have been down in a series 3-1 and 16 times they have lost the series. Let's hope this is #17 ....
