You sure do live life dangerously  Sanding and painting the hull over a fresh trailer paint job! I know who would come visit me if I attempted such a feat. I don't want to even mention his name on your thread though. :D

Looking fine from here on some of the toughest work of the process.

Yes I'm kind of wishing I had sanded and painted the boat first but things just didn't work out that way, so far just a lot of sanding dust on the trailer, blew most if it off with the compressor but I will for sure have to cover the trailer when we paint the boat.

Yes for sure I have to take them off anyway, at least I know they need adjusting before I put them on permanently.

Hi Budski, what type of sander did you use on the hull?

I am going to bit the bullet and get an air compressor. I don't know much about the orbital vs dual action vs straight rotational, etc. and using to remove paint from an aluminum hull.

Thanks guys, Sorry for the delay in answering your question Pike I used an orbital duel action air sander with 320 grit sandpaper

Thanks Glen, hopefully we can get the decals on today, provided it doesn't rain, then yes it will be ready to splash.
