Re: New Boat Review - 2008 Tahoe Q6 SF

I posted this thread several years ago and still have my Q6 220 MPI and still love it. I haven't had any issues or problems the past two seasons at aLL.

I also don't go more then 35 MPH unless I need to get away from some other idiot who runs up right next ME or in front of me.

For a prop I have kept my 20" Enertia on and I changed it one time last year for one outing and changed it back. For anyone who goes above a 20" or 21" you will not be happy. If you are pulling you will need 19" or less.

For the record the Enertia is not a stainless steel prop it's an alloy.

Here's some more info on it:

The Enertia was the first Mercury propeller to utilize the added strength and durability of Mercury’s X7 alloy, which is 30 percent stronger and four times more durable than conventional steels. X7 allowed Mercury’s propeller engineers to develop a propeller with thinner blades and higher rake angles – surpassing what is possible with traditional steels.

I have the exact same prop on my Q7 and it is a great prop!
