Ok guys so I bit the bullet and bought a brand new 2013 Crestliner VT 17 with a 60hp merc 4 stroke. I got it on the water and it runs like a dream but it's got an extremely slow hole shot and when it gets up to speed and starts planning the bow will bounce like crazy. Feels like the boat is going to break in half. So I slow down and play with the trim several more times and get the same result. The motor is mounted in the first hole at the top and I think the cavitation play is to low but I'm not sure. Could that cause it to bounce like that?
