Your eyes have close to 180 vision. Watching a big screen TV is not causing your eyes to scan.I'm not talking about vision damage, I'm referring to temporary eyestrain that I get when I have to scan back and forth to take in the whole image. Gives me a headache after a while.
If you're going from a CRT, make sure the height of the HD is "at least" as high as the CRT or you will be disappointed......
Center of any TV should be eye level.
