Got the motor running for the first time. Sounds pretty good.

I've been watching.

Running an OB out of the water without muffs tends to ruin impellers.:grumpy: Replacing is a great idea.

Got a couple things knocked out this weekend.

New trolling motor mounted. Still need to splice in longer wires to reach battery.






Also, did some more work with the outboard (mostly learning) and it fires up pretty quick. Happy about that. There are 4 bolts that mount the outboard through the transom...added those in as well covered in 5200.

Ordering some decals, need to get the motor cowl painted, as well as the lower part of the motor. Installing hatch hardware that just arrived, and hopefully mount controls soon too!

Got back at it last night.

Hatches - installed. The one with the livewell under it took a lot longer haha.



Then I painted the rest of the interior of the boat - with the same gray as the deck. Still need to do the back and patch over some holes the PO cut into the bulkhead.






And since my boat isnt ready yet, we made it down to the Detroit River on a buddy's boat this week for some LIMITS on BIG Eyes.

LOL yea for sure. Only a 2 year break haha. Been catching tons of bass on the SN while parked at my dock, and now starting to take it on trips instead of docking it. Thank you for the compliment!

I will head over and check out your SC now!

I been busy working on my SS rebuild every spare moment trying to get her ready for the water in time for the spring bass fishing and walleye. You're probably getting run ragged with those little ones about now, terrible twos x two. :lol:
