new adventure for sure....Cool, a new adventure!
yep its alcohol stove . i was thinkin on jet black lol.... naaa i dont know what colour im going to choose. green is ok if i want to keep it original. but judging from what you and i have talked mostly i think its gonna change .... thats what we do..... lol......That's a nice clean looking boat! Love the cabin setup and that little folding door! That kitchen area looks very nice and neat, is that a pressurized alcohol stove? Cushions look like they're in great shape, looks like the previous owner loved her. Hope you keep the earthy green!
Yeah, you're right, everything has to be tweaked. lol I'm definitely a subscriber to the "if it ain't broke- fix it till it is!" mantra Sometimes I wish I could just leave things alone.. lolyep its alcohol stove . i was thinkin on jet black lol.... naaa i dont know what colour im going to choose. green is ok if i want to keep it original. but judging from what you and i have talked mostly i think its gonna change .... thats what we do..... lol......
the mast sails and boom are all with it. along with the rudder. the sails are in great shape..... sure cant wait till she gets here.Nice boat! Hope you get a mast and boom with it and a rudder would be nice..LOL.. seriously tho, do you know what sails it has and there condition? those guys can get expensive.
well the paint looks to be ok, i will pressure wash it and then put a coat of wax or something to brighten it up.Yeah, you're right, everything has to be tweaked. lol I'm definitely a subscriber to the "if it ain't broke- fix it till it is!" mantra Sometimes I wish I could just leave things alone.. lol
You could always color coordinate with the hull or, better yet, do something really unique all of your own instead. Your boat is like your own island so making it personalized is really important I think vs what people more typically do and theme everything as though resale is all that matters. Even if you don't keep the green, just having the cushions and the pattern for the covers is really nice vs starting from scratch! My old starchief had a really nice feature where the cushions were vinyl on one side and soft fabric on the other. Was great to choose one or the other depending on conditions like wet clothes.
well its either shoal keel with ctbrd , shoal keel or swing keel. reviews for this have different aspects and different opinions on it. some say there is no ctbrd, and others say yes. very confusing for sure. will check when it gets home and let you know what my findings are....Swing Keel? I had a Catalina 22 . . . but I think the O'Day 22 was a wee bit more stout.
