Looks like she'll clean up nicely. Great deal. Now, of course, you need a trailer, a motor, etc etc etc :p

LOL...I think you could squeeze an old 60hp I/O like the '69 Jupiters came with from the factory if you add enough pour-in foam:D

CBK what's the data plate have to say for hp and weight? She was probably built more solid than the newer ones:)

$100 for a 14 footer now that is a nice deal. She looks solid, and like said easy job. Plus with that style boat your open to adventures. Still though $100 is a heck of a great deal. Now you know if you need a trailer for it I have one that holds a 18 foot cruiser I'll sell you. The trailer might eat your boat, but at least you know it's safe on that nice solid unit. Anyhow great find.

Dear Another Boat in the Grass, :D

My boat historian cannot identify your new tinny. Here is what he said, "It looks very generic. The seat supports going down to the hull are not exactly professionally designed. Company probably wasn't in business long. Look for a serial number stamped into the transom on the upper right or left outside."

I thought those seat supports might be a real clue to origins.

lol..thanks for all that research..Tashasdaddy let me know it is a Lonestar, 1950 something..He has one and these bow and stern corner pieces are identical. Also the high tech seat braces!
Now I am thinking how sweet they would look made from some nice exotic wood..hmmmm?

I have a 14' open hull starcraft and IF I ever trip over a jet ski that is in in good shape I might jump on it ;)
