So I have redone my transom, including sealing the original holes through the transom that drained water from the motor well (outboard motor). I do not want to drill through the transom to create new holes for drainage (rather not drill through my newly glassed transom. I was thinking about drilling holes in the bottom of the motorwell and draining that way somehow, possibly pumping out or letting it drain into the bilge. Any better ideas? Thanks, it's a fully restored 18ft 92 bayliner capri. I've marked the well I'm talking about in the photo.

Following seas........I've had my motor well completely full along with ankle deep water on the deck more times than I care to remember.

Can't imagine intentionally dumping that amount of water in a bilge with the hope of pumping it out with a bilge pump.
