I have a 1995 19.5 ft searay witha 3.0 lx mercruiser. What would be involved to put a 4.3 or bigger in this boat.I'm new to boating and I.m thinking i should have done more research before buying with this size engine.

Ayuh,... Sell it,+ Buy another 1....

It'll cost Twice the hulls value to refit it to Bigger Horsepower....

Re: Motor change

You mentioned refitting the hull for the bigger engine. On the searay website a bigger engine was an option for this boat?

Re: Motor change

Ayuh,.....

You Need,... EVERYTHING from the other driveline...
Then your hull will need different motor mounts,+ what nots...

The motor,+ outdrive you have now won't just swap out to something different...
Outdrives are geared to different motor Horsepower outputs...

Re: Motor change

Hello!! yea that could get exspensive. I guess searay would have done all that if you went with the bigger motor option.
