I have an 2004 MK PD 55 w/ auto pilot that the prop stop working last wkend. The trolling motor will still turn in directions, show battery life, auto pilot still works, but prop will not spin. When I press or turn on the foot pedal it will make a clicking noise from the control board, coming from the relay. I hookup direct power to the motor and the prop works and will spin. Sounds like a faulty control board, so I order a new board w/ brush kit. I received the parts and installed the control board, brushes, bearings, and seals just to be on the safe side. After I installed all the components, hookup the power and the prop still not working. So I hookup direct power to the motor again and it spins like it should, so I know everything is hookup right including the brush kit. So my question is? There something holding back that it's not letting power to my motor or did I receive a defected control board??? Also is there a way of testing these control boards? Lmk thanks. - Allen
