Mercrusier Steering "S" Turns

Do all mercruiser outdrives cause the boat to make S turns when at trolling (no wake) speeds?

That's why bow mounted trolling motors are better than transom mounted. To pull the boat for better control, instead of pushing the boat from the stern which causes the V-shaped bow to wander.
At least that's what I thought.

My Century v-hull does it too. 4-blade prop helps a little, but still does it.
