Merc dry joint on a VP motor???

Can the Merc dry joint manifolds be run/adapted on a VP motor? Anyone done this?

Don't see why not, just need to adapt.

5.7 GSIPEFS had water intrusion looking for better options when I replace motor. Hytek Marine, etc.??

You can use Merc or VP, and if intrusion was caused by rotted out mans/elbows, then that is just time. If it happened do to ingestion form exhaust, then may need to increase riser height if space is available

May simply need a riser. What is the riser to SWL measurement? Should be 14"
