Congratulations !!! 😎

Hopefully, the production schedules are caught up from the delays of the past couple of years.

Been looking up parts for maintenance and motor is so new they are limited. Figure find out what's required to keep warranty intact

Don't know the SN but it will be a V8 250 so not supercharged, Mercury shows a SN 2B529482 and up. The fuel filter shows a boat mounted 10 micron 8M0126144 but does not show the element part, might not have one. Canister (resembles Racor type with drain) also doesn't appear to be able to remove.

One under the cowling I've found vids at Merc

Has 2 inline HP filters (one on each rail) and another under the cowling

Might have to wait till I get the actual motors before deciding which parts/oil I will need. Searching the web there is a mix bag of 10w30, 20w50, 7.4Qt, 8.4 Qt. Even the service manual has a new number, some show 2018 and others don't show date.

Trying to figure out total length on the trailer was an issue but many calls and think it comes to 33ft.

Transom to bow is 25ft 6 in
Trailer is 28ft so tongue should be 2.5ft
Boat with motors is 30.5ft

Its only called a 280 because if you count the swim platform and that comes out to 27.5ft

Agree with many not all, Formula's boats still measure from transom to bow. My 27 is 28'2" counting swim

I think my rig (trailer & boat) is 40’ overall, add the tow vehicle and it is about 56’

Your truck is longer than 16 ft. Shortest is 17'-1" for a reg cab short box F150

@alldodge . . . . I cannot recall, are you going to be trailering often?
No, the length question is to find out if it will fit in another's shop. My Formula trailer is longer but overall about a foot shorter. My truck is right at 21ft

Dealer called and wanted to know if I would go with Yam's and I said no. So Chap will put mine on hold until they know. Not sounding good.

If you get in a bind i can speak very highly of the yam on my brothers boat. Very impressive engine and has been completely trouble free, and this coming from a die hard Mercruiser sterndrive guy…
