Mastercraft Exhaust Leaks

Can exhaust leaks on the mastercraft exhaust pipes be repaired with regular fiberglass repair kits? Or is there something special I should use for this repair? Just wondering if there is a heat consideration to be worried about.

if you do not maintain the cooling system on the boat, and you loose cooling flow, the exhaust will melt fiberglass leading to leaks

however it is simply fiberglass.

just need to determine if it was Poly or VE

being exhaust, you have a lot more cleanup to do
