I am new to this forum. I have been fishing since I was 5 years old. I currently own a 1978 Lund Pro Pike 18, my previous boat was a Skeeter 15.5 ft bass boat. The Lund is in need of repair. The motor runs but the floor was rotted and the foam was soaked with water. I want to restore this boat as close to original as possible. I am having a hard time trying to find what this boat looked like originally. Contacted Lund, they couldn't help me. My first concern is the foam, what foam do I use? I do not want to use the expanding foam because there is a channel down the middle of the boat to let out water. I already bought 3/4" marine grade plywood for the floor. Do I seal the plywood? If so with what? There is a live well behind and to the left of the steering wheel. The plug goes thru the bottom of the floor. I can get the T-handle plug, but not the housing that screws to the bottom of the boat. I would like to replace it because the screws are really corroded. I am going to try and attach a pic of this boat and the plug for the live well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
