I guess I can't actually say that I have every seen it out for myself. I just figured that they pulled it over the winter.

I also snapped this picture while I was there which is why I thought they were just put back in. If you look close, you will see fresh scrape marks on the pavement straight back from the dock.

Who knows, either way they are in.

Wish the parking lot was that empty all the time.

I am dying to get out on the river. My son is heading off to college the end of June so we are not going to have the time we thought we were going to this summer.

Hopefully you can still squeeze in some time for a raft up down in the upper bay!!!

Where is this ramp? We would be coming from Coatesville/Parkesburg area. This is 1st full season and would like to check out as many ramps as possible this year.

Go to http://maps.google.com/ and type in "Long Level Marina". These ramps are just down the road from there.

Here is another map I got off of Long Level Marina's website.

This ramp is called "Lock 2"

If you look in the center of the page on the bottom side of the river, you will see it listed. It is the last ramp you can access on the York side of the river.

how far upriver can you go from long level marina?
is it too rock near those islands on the lancaster county side?

could yo go right up to the damn?
is that rt. 30, a damn, or just a bridge?

It's a bridge. You can't go up past that cluster of islands downstream from the bridge. The boat ramps that it shows there by the bridge are only for very shallow running boats.

I'm heading out to Lake Clarke after work today with my son using my dad's little tinny. It will be a slow cruise but it will be nice to get out on the water on this beautiful day.
