Hello, hello, hello...

Sure have missed the regular goings on around these here parts...
I hope all of the iboats family is doing well and enjoying every aspect of this wonderful hobby...

It has been quite awhile since any real thoughts have crossed my mind about the "ol Bassassin...
Meanwhile, it is patiently awaiting my renewed attention...:neglected:

I have popped in every now and again to try and keep up with the cool happenings with all your boats...
The stuff you guys are doing is amazing!

Unfortunately, my time to hang with you guys has been severely limited due to every thing going on with the house...
We are still up to our eyeballs in dust and debris, but the end is in sight.
HOPEFULLY, by the beginning of next year...
The rest of the house will look as nice as the front entrance...

Not like this...:painkiller:

At which time many plans will be put in motion...

Just to whet your appetites, here is a little freebie I received from my good friend, Angel, who also, happens to be the man taking this old house's plumbing [as seen in the above pics...] from 60+ year old antiquated, dilapidated, cast iron plumbing, into the 21 century... A NOT altogether easy task, God Bless him!

This is especially relevant to all my tinny;) friends...

16 foot Fiberglass Canoe

It is actually water ready, but could use some wood replacements and a 75 horse outboard......

Hope this long post makes up for some lost time...

Anxious to get this done, so I can get back to the restoration shenanigans...
All the best, crew!:becky:

Good to know you're still around GT! The beauty of a hobby is that it is always there for you when time/money permit! That canoe looks really nice as well! Looking forward to any and all future progress.

Sorry to hear about the new plumbing replacements. But really glad to see you're back again. For a second there I thought you changed your bass boat turn into a canoe.

Oh man that's a serious rehab right there, but digging around in dirt isn't nearly as itchy as that glass

I realize a guy can put a lot of work into a glass canoe and a new trench full of septic pipes. But I gotta ask, just cause, how da ell does anyone get 2500 posts on a project :D

2500?
How about 5400 or 4700?

Being active and commenting on others project topics makes others interested in your project too.

Gus is a great guy, thats certainly helps too ;)

Wasn't a criticism - trying for a witticism instead. I love it. Still can't believe how nice this is gonna be when it gets finished.

Add a couple recycled aircraft pod tanks for sponsons, 1 per side, and hang the 50s off the back of them, and I think you've got something Mike....

And it adds a touch of tin to the poor ole glaseer so it doesnt get a body dismorphia about been so itchy and scratchy....

FWIW, this is also how you get 2K+ posts in a topic  :becky:

Holy smokes GT I didn't think there was any bigger mess then grinding FG but you have proven that wrong.

Keep that end picture in your head and just like a boat it'll all be worth it in the end.
