Link and Sync 85 hp v4

I am still working on this dang V4 it is a 1979 johnson 85hp V4 I need to do the link and sync on it, it is the only thing I haven't tried. Does anyone know how to do it?

If you have a manual, it should tell you how to do it. If you don't have a manual, you should get the OEM manual to do it, several steps involved.

I was hoping to do it tonight I have done it on other motors just never on a V4. Can anyone tell me te highlights of how to do it?

Iplayed with the timing and it didn't make a difference, the problem is that at idle the motor fires on all 4 cylinders and runs very sweet, as soon as you give it any throttle two cylinder foul out instantly but seemlike at wot they start firing again. Here is what I have done, new coils, cdi boxes and stator. Rebuilt carbs and new fuel line and primer ball, also checked fuel pump and it operates perfect, all cylinders have great compression, 127psi, 130psi, 127psi, 125psi. What now?
