I got the boatstogo wheels...didnt seal holes.....everything works fine...i like them alot and carry my boat to/from ramp with 15hp attached....fuel tank and assorted junk like life jackets.
Got my launching wheels yesterday. What do you guys use to seal the holes you have to drill? Anything special other than silicone? Seems the valve is hard to reach with a gauge. I used a bike pump to pump them up, but I couldn't get a good seal so the gauge wasn't working to let me know how much psi I filled them to. Any tricks to get to the stem to inflate these and or test them with a gauge?
Does anybody know where to get these from.
You need to always have some as it seems they are easily lost if your full attention is not given to properly attaching them View attachment 231985
I would also like some additional sizes as it seems they would be perfect for use with the Bimini top poles
Picked them up on Sunday Forgot about the coupon. They were on sale anyway Thanks againRe: launching wheels HFT, if close by is the way to go, the 20 piece assortment can generally be had on sale or via coupon for ~$6. Otherwise they are a $2 or $3 affair each. 20 Piece PTO Pin Assortment View attachment 232108 Get some bungee cord of about the same diameter as that used for the tarp tie down loops with the ball ends. View attachment 232051 It is easy to slip the cord between where the retainer spring wire touches itself and then just attach the other end to the struts or something. My launch wheel setup requires 2 PTO pins per side and even since I just attached the uppers and lowers to each other on each side, I have not lost any PTO pins. You could also just use some sting or anything similar.
sweet!!!Picked them up on Sunday Forgot about the coupon. They were on sale anyway Thanks again
sweet!!!
I finally sold enough under utilized stuffs via craigslsist
and had enough left over "moolah", not allocated to ohter things,
that I went ahead and ordered the canoe / kayak dolly
that folds parallel to how the wheels roll:

They should arrive by the middle of next week, so I hope by Friday morning
to have some photos of them in application as the bow wheels for my SIB
to post on here.
The same seller also had the launch wheels pictured below
of which, I think I saw similar launch wheels mentioned in another thread on launch wheels,
I like the way they fold up against the rear / outside of the transom,
Being made of nylon, I would not expect they are as robust as the really nice ones
constructed of stainless / metal I have seen elsewhere on the web.
But for the price they do not look bad at all...

Has anyone had any experience with them?
Any good or bad experiences / things to say?
