Re: Just want to know more
That is a very good possibility that they were made here, mine had a sticker in the side glass that said something about them being from SLC but I thought it was the dealership not the mfg. But that was a long time and 3-4 boats ago. Here in utah we have a web site called ksl.com get on it and go to the classifieds section and search seaflite boats, there are probably ten or more of them for sale ranging from 67-68 to 76-77 model years. The one I had was pretty fast with the Wakeasha ford 302 in it. They took the ford blocks and marined them out it was strong runner, holley 4bbl, elelbrock intake etc. I will ask around about them some more. When I had mine I was a 19 year old punk kid, didn't care about anything other than slalom skiing as much as possible(which we did ALOT behind that thing) I was into carpentry even then and made a bunch of nice wood accessories for it. The volvo drive started to get pretty worn so I sold it before I had to replace a drive unit. I honestly thought I saw it last year at one of the local lakes, I was 100% sure it was the same one cause of all the wood stuff I had made that was still in there????? I will post back if I can find out more info.
