Not sure I'd call them "nice" photos ... I think this is the biggest single "dump" of snow I can recall in Tennessee in one day since I moved down here.

Southkogs - there was a 6 incher about ten years ago (I was in Baltimore). The boys built a very low slung cave in a drift in the ditch. Basically they both got in the ditch, covered themselves with my tarp and had mamma dump/pack the snow on top of them. It looked epic...

Yeah, I was thinking about that one. I don't think we had this much snow, though in Murfreesboro. The kids and I played out in it for hours. Went to several hills to sled.

It's crazy how the accumulation can be so different in just a handful of miles in this state. My office is about 20 miles from home and sometimes aside from today, conditions have been very different at each place.

I haven't made an igloo in YEARS ... :giggle:

Yeah went to Franklin yesterday to get the Mercedes from the shop and huge diff from Manchester.

I had a friend around Niagara falls and it could be 30 inches where he lived to nothing 20 miles away. It an effect of the lake.

My brother and his family left Lexington, KY today for a week in Gatlanburg, TN. They asked if I wanted to join them and told them I would stay in Central PA where it is warmer! LOL!

The last week or so, that would have been it. Sunday, should be the game changer ... back in the 50s and 60s next week. All of the water falls over there should be really pretty though!

Shiny butt aka wood bee aka carpenter bee from last spring. They are normally nocturnal feeders but they sure like our lavender in the daytime.

A Squirrel flea (three[3] in the test group) I treated with Diatomaceous Earth...............

**NOTE** The flea was the only thing harmed in this image...In fact, it was damn dead in two days!! (The control group[3] was very much still kicking, but soon after the test?.......RIP)

No poison and IT REALLY WORKS TOO!!....The sharp particles evidently cut/break into and open up their exoskeleton, they basically dehydrate into an empty hull.

"Through pandemic comes discovery" I just made that up...........This isn't new, but was fun anyway.

I have a semi reoccurring skin condition my doc wanted to give me an expensive pill for. I started drinking DE every day for a couple months and all gone for over two years.

Fleas and mosquitoes don't like me. No it is a high sugar/yeast thing that the dirt as i call it removes from my system.

Normally I'm not a purveyor of shaman medicine but after the research it made we want to try and it did work. All for about 20 bucks rather than a few hundred in a probable life long script.
