Looking forward to seeing that first fish !
Boat looks and sounds great !

Thank you. I am so appreciative and happy for all the help and support this site gave me.

One of the reasons I am still here. This is the motivation to keep pushing on for the guys in the middle of doing it. Mine was wasted. 2 years it took me but it was worth it.

As Red Green says "I pullin for you. We all in this together."

Man she sounds sweet, Chevy. My boy (8) and my little girl (4) caught their first (and second) fish just last summer, but from the bank. Ain't nothing like seeing them light up when they snag one.

Never too old. My wife got that look last summer when she caught her first ever large mouth bass and she's been fishing over 50 years

Jesus...…...…..that was 2 years Chev? I wish I did it that fast! You are going to have a great time this summer!

Yup 2 years in march. I will admit it get easier and less time consuming the farther along you go. More waiting less doing.
Yes I was just at my bayliner buddies borrowing a trailer to go get something. We were talking about it the opening of the season. It is close. It will be fun.

We went shopping for easter clothes. And since we were there I got beach towels for the boat. And my son and I assembled the grill. It is rainy and cold so it was a good day for this stuff.

It been raining for 2 days straight. I dug up a section if the drain tile. It was running next to the pipe and in it to. So I ventilated it and reburied it. That solved the problem.

I went and got sand paper and measuring cups and paint for the trailer. And re-upped on the laquer thinner for cleaning the guns. Now if it stops raining ever again I can sand and prep the trailer.

I already bought plastic and tape to cocoon the boat. If there is a happening issue I can go snap a picture of that junk. Or you can wait till I cover the boat. That is alot of plastic and should prove I bought a roll of it.

I just spent more on the trailer than some come here thinking they gonna spend fixing their boat. Like they holding the boat hostage. If I can't do it cheap I will junk it i swear I am a desperate man. LOL.

Get real you want a boat or not. Bust out another.........................

I went to Easter at my mom's. And my brother with the baja is down the street. It is finished now and ready for a splash to. So here is boat porn from my brothers house. He did the interior like I did. Bought material and sewed it up. 454 blower 2X4bbls straight cut racing gears in the outdrive. This thing was clocked at 98 mph by the previous owner. It will pass everything but a gas pump.

Happy Easter !

Thank You Happy Easter to you to.

My brother in law had stupid fast boats before he past. I been on alot of them. I am with you now. I just as soon cruise and enjoy. Life goes by fast enough. Sometimes you just got to relax and smell the roses so to speak.

I almost turned mine into a death machine like that. I had permission from the admiral. But my buddy with the bayliner took me out and we had a chat. Now I am good just cruising. New 3 liter is all she needs to do the speeds I gonna do.

But the only thing that sound better than and BBC running a 5500 RPMs with open marine exhaust is a BB Mopar at 5500 RPMs with open headers going down the 1/4 mile. BTW my boat is just cruiser so I am with you on just cruising at 25MPH. I will say this a few years ago the wife and I were out for a evening cruise and a go fast boat past us at full song (probably twin BBC) this thing sounded bad a&& and my head turned to check it out. The wife looked at me and said that would grounds for divorce!!!!! Looking forward to see you out on the water again. Mine is still covered up, but that should change soon as the NJ boating season is approaching fast.

I had mass household duties this morning. Burned a half tank paying bills.

In the middle of that I went and got my boat trailer parking tag. And looked at the landing. Water is half way up the ramp and no dock yet. And as a multiplier target bonus there is a tree branch in the middle sticking 6 foot in the air. I may not be the smartest man in the world as Forrest said. But I am thinking there a nice sized tree under the surface holding that puppy up.

It is getting close. On the way home from paying the house payment. I saw a guy who clearly just bought a Four Winns towing it home. That thing never seen water yet. I be seeing him on the river.

Well out to sand on the trailer a while.
