I have no pics of the transom project, I was out of town. My husband and friend built and installed it without me. This week I bought a beautiful piece of Colorado beetle kill pine for my dash. Off to iBoats for the gauges!
Ok, now I have a real problem. If you look at the pic on page 2, the one that shows the stripped down interior, the stringers have both been cut in two places to accommodate the old chairs. What can be done? The bottom part of the stringer is still intact. So, it is still one piece for the length of the stringer.
I got a riveter for Mothers Day because I am a mother to three wonderful boys/men! (They're boys to me.) Mother's Day came early for me as well as a few other key holidays will, in order to keep my Jupiter on schedule. FYI, Mother's Day is May 10th, 2015. We have a joke in our family, "What do you are you getting me for your birthday?"
I can't imagine life without an air riveter, a perfect present for those who would restore an old tin boat. Looking good on the tear down and clean up. :encouragement:
