johnson 60 lack of power

My dad has a johnson 60 on his boat it was working fine then we took it back out and it has a loss of power. we thought it was the ingnation coils cause we messed around with them on the water and it would get a jolt of power every once in a while so replaced those and the wires and took it back out still has no power any thoughts would really appricate it. thanks a lot

i am working on a power loss problem as we speak. my problem seems that i dropped a cylinder due to lack of fuel. cleaned the high speed jets and it seems okay now. might want to check to see if your getting spark to all cylinders first, and work from there,

trouble shoot from the beginning. compression and spark check. here are some tips.
