ill be boating well into november, in indiana with my mid cabin and full enclosure with small heaters. also usually have the whole lake to myself at night till you crack of dawn fisherman come out

Oh how I love Texas! We had a cold front move in today and put the temp in the low 70's. I had to put on jeans! Its 53 right now and no way am I going outside! It'll warm up again in a week tho!

1-3" of snow in metro areas and 3-5" in outlying areas.

I'll take the seasons. I enjoy going to my little ocean-front place in the winter more than summer. The surf is roaring. There's always someone bundled up tightly with a Labrador walking up the beach. The sea seems ominous and demands respect.

With the cold blast and water temps of 55 comes Striper fishing. Coming in from the cold, grabbing a hot cup of coffee and warming up by the fire feels good for the soul. After a while, the cold, clinical feel and boring hum of an A/C system gets old.

12 months of boating would get old! i love boating but its just a pass time for winter, winter rules, summer is second best

It's a season called Fall or Winter. It happens every year just like spring and summer. If the water is'nt frozen, its a great time to boat or fish w warm, windproof clothing or a nice heated cabin. If the wind chill bothers you on your boat, slow down and enjoy the solitude of uncrowded waters. Stop whining and enjoy Or take a vacation in FL.
