if'n you bought $ 1000 worth of NORTEL stock a year ago it would be worth $ 49 dollars today..

with ENRON you'd have $ 16.50 0f the beginnin' $ 1000..

with WORLDCOM,,, you'd have less than $ 5.00 left ...

but if'n you bought a $ 1000 dollars of say BUDWEISER.. the beer ,, not the stock.. drank-it-all,, then turned in the cans in for the recycle money..

you'd be $ 214 dollars the richer..

you see it really PAYS to drink beer & recycle the cans..

see i told ya's .. the redneck's will always survive & enjoy ourselves while doin' it... i'll drink to that ..!!

LOL....sad but true! :(

Crab, you have too much time on your hands...start that new project!

I bought some Coke stock a few years ago when a friend that worked there said it was going to split...well it did...right down the middle. It is now worth half of what I paid for it!

I'm investin in beer from now on. :D

There ya go. Who says us rednecks aint educated?
I think the werds they use is "do the math" or somethin like that.
But we can run a trot line, and a country boy can survuive.
But that paper still can win the game tho,if you give it to your grandchildren. They could sell it on the year 2025 version of ebay for a gajillion dolllars a share, just for collector's value.
Kinda like them thar Micky Mouse watches..Whooda thunk it?

The only problem with that plan is, I'm broke too,JB. I just had to buy a new truck, because I totalled-out my Toyota.
As long as we are eating and haven't lost the farm, all is ok.
