What is reay bad is when you start looking for a Satelite Internet Connection so that you can read and Post on Iboats while you are fishing in your 18 footer.<br /><br />I just gotta figure out how to get the 110AC on the boat to power the receiver and router.<br /><br />"Honey, don't splash salt water on the laptop!!"

Re: iboats addiction

Well, it has become an everyday thing....going to iboats. Don't know if that is addiction but according to most here it seems like normal behavior. Just like getting wireless for the laptop so I can take it in the bathroom with me and look at iboats while I am in there. Now everyone is wondering why I stay in the bathroom so long. That is normal huh?<br /><br />One thing though, it helps make the day at work go faster for sure. Ummmm....just kidding boss. Actually boss, coming to work is not so bad, it's just the 8 or 9 hour wait until it's time to go home that's the killer.

Man.....I'm sure glad that this forum is back up and running. I was about to go nuts the last few days without it. I don't think I could have made it another day or two. Guess that settles it.....definitely addicted....or so my counselor says.

Re: iboats addiction

I got started when I was looking for a windshield gasket for the boat. Quickly got sidetracked. The windshield still leaks but now I have iBoats. Also a big fan of Duckworks web site for wooden boats. Duckworks archives are a great place to spend a little time when I can't boat or fish and I've used up my iBoats time.

Re: iboats addiction

So it's official? In Feb of 2006 you guys found the cure for "iboats forum addiction"?

I haven't seen a post since, or I'm guessing that everyone in this thread just OD'd on it? What does that look like exactly?

For some reason, the endorphins just keep wanting me to click on more boats... boats.... boats...

ha, old thread back from the dead...

Anyway, the cure is boats. I check the forums when Im on break and have nothing better to do, but outside of work, I just spend all my time on the water.
But I do have the forum sections memorized that I like to check. 11,17 and 20 up in the url bar when your in any forum, but not thread, on the site.
