You have typed up a long thoughtfull reply to another thread, reread it then just backed out without replying.
4. You have gone to the engine section looking for new matierial to read.
5. You do something daft and immediately think "I gotta post this on iboats" instead of "I'm gonna have to get stiches at the ER"
10. You check iboats before your email in the morning...........

Less than 200 posts but as you can see by my member number I've been around here for a long time. Old computer crashed and I had to buy a new one just to see what was happening in I-boats.

I just became a member about 3 weeks ago and accidently hit the furom button. A heading got my attention.. I was looking for a flywheel key for my motor.. I laughed so hard at some of the funny things that I had to join to share some of the things I experienced.. I am totally addicted, but I still am getting to the lake..

Re: iboats addiction

Any time I post, I click the "email notification", so in the morning, I check my mail AND iBoats topics that I'm interested in at the same time...when I get home from work, do the same, and then scan the forums for new stuff...

That's normal behavior, isn't it?

----------------------------

DOC! DOC! Ya gotta help me - every time I have a cup of coffee, I get a sharp pain in my left eye!

-- Next time, take the spoon out of the cup, dummy.

Re: iboats addiction

thank god all you guys are so addicted or I would have made so many mistakes not having your info to read. So now I apologize on my threads when I cant get to forum in a timely manner. I always read as many posts as possible to learn more and try to give helpback wherever I can. I always try to check my old posts to see if Ive gotten more replies. As soon as I log on my computer I check the site. Oh @#$% its happening isnt it!!!!!

Re: iboats addiction

I've got to say it's getting harder and harder to be addicted to iboats as there is still a problem with logging on using my Optus broadband account which means using oh-so-slow dial-up. Please administrators at iboats let us Aussies in using broadband - my ISP says its you blocking us, not a local problem, and only you guys can fix it! Please, please fix it soon, I'm not as patient as Dunaruna who loves using dial-up!

Re: iboats addiction

Hate to disagree, but I'm on Bigpond broadband. Haven't had any problems for over 6 months. Same when I log on at work, thats on a T1 connection.

I think you may have a problem with Optus.
