i think i may have messed up

in the front of my fiberglass boat is a platform. its attached in 2 ways. part is glassed together (at the deck) and the top is screwed into wood that was attached to the hull in fiberglass pockets, but the wood it was attached to was rotten so i cut the whole platform out, to get to the wood. i'm going to fab a new platform. so the ? is when i cut it out did i change the structural integrity of the hull? DID I MESS UP and make the whole front end WEAK

No just build it back better or at least as good as it was and youll be ok
