Peterfishbuster, in the daily newspaper today I noticed that Sears is having a sale on "tractors and mowers" they even have the grass catchers on them.<br /><br />Sunday coming up is Mother's Day but, I would not buy her a new mower!<br /><br />Bob

Finally found that teenager or at least his sister. She is trying to earn some money to get some transportation so she can get a real job. Of course this is after i got the grass cut and all. Hopefully she will still be willing to cut the grass when it needs it agian.

hey peterfishbuster, I seen a mag somewhere that had an electric automatic lawn mower that just keeps randemly going all over your lawn and when the battery ges weak it goes back to the charging station and recharges itself.Honest. you might want to check this .

Guess I'm a lucky dog...big ole' fat butt 49 yr. old like me and I got a cute little 40 yr old wife that looks 25 and loves to go fishing with me...bring my little chuhuahua with me too (Spike)<br />AND no I ain't got gobs of money.....

Hey Mike! Why would I want him to stay home and bug me? hehehehe jk.....no I love to get out on the boat when we can. I don't mind that he spends a lot of time on the boat as long as I can still do my shopping and go with him when I want to. It's the day that he tells me that I CAN'T go that he'll wind up in the dog house. Until then he's safe.<br /><br />Leah ;)

In our house it all goes by 'you do what you are good at'<br /><br />The one that is good with laundry does that.<br />The one that is good with cars does that.<br />And so on. <br />We even love each other so much, that we allow each other plenty room for own doings.<br /><br />She has her sports, shopping, outings with friends etc. And I have mine. And we share a lot too, also the boat.<br /><br />Silver aniversary just around the corner.. 25 yrs of givin' and takin'<br /><br />Still, I'd get a goat if my lawn was more than I could beat in an hour.

If that was the rule to our house then I would probably be doing EVERYTHING......hahahaha.....my husband is the type that if he loads the dishwasher the right way or washes clothes without bleaching out the colors and makin pink underware then I'll recognize that he IS able to do housework and ask him to do it more often. He thinks that I haven't picked up on those things but I just let him have his fun and go about our business....I am glad to hear about your 25 years of marriage UU that is WONDERFUL! I hope mine last that long and longer! ;)

YEAH,UU that's a beautiful thing ,no kiddin'.. i specialize in eatin' & sleepin' an i a wizz on that t v remote..GOD BLESS ME ..no actualy, i can relate to LEAH.. EVERY BODY PLAYS DUMB.. I CAN'T / I DON'T KNOW HOW.. like i said ,, GOD BLES ME ..o'well it all gets done ..i'll have to say ,, i traveled all over the country for years back in the hippie days...i was along haired fly fishin' redneck flower child ...even believed in all that " free love" crap .. ( still do ,you know i hate to pay for it ) ONLY KIDDING ,, GEEZ, IT'S A JOKE , COME ON !! HECK,lived in san jose for 4 years. an the prettist girls in the country BY GOD, are in mississippi, louisanna, a texas .. MY MY MY MY .. what lovely ladies.. there even sweet when there yellin' at ya .. MUSIC TO MY EARS .. altho i just gotta mention , JERSEY GIRLS. good lord there awlsome in a east coast high heel make-up kinda way..but them southeren bells have 'em beat .. by-the-way ,LEAH thanks for the invite .. that was sweet.. i'm leavin' for mississippi at first lite ... Bob, I just about died laughing when I read your first reply. I thought that was a dandy idea since my yard is about 1 1/2 acers. We are having near drout conditions now and I almost love it. The grass just don't grow. But every week it's the same thing for me. How am I gonna convince my wife that my boat and I need a little time together. <br /> Well it looks like a lot of us guys are in the same boat toghther.<br />I'd already figured out some of the things that were mentioned in some of the previous replies to this post and a lot of em do work. One I saw though was how much smaller she looks in that new stuff. Be careful, that can be a loaded reply. I've had the come back before (Oh you really did think I was fat then)<br />Good luck guys.

Here is the way it works in my house.<br /><br />At 4:00 A.M. I roll over to my wife and cuddle her enough to wake her up. <br />I then ask, "Hey, do you want to get romantic or should I go fishing?"<br />She replys, " Your waders are in the front hall closet."

Ya see Parrott...that wouldn't have worked with me.....I'm the one that rolls over in the early ornings and wants to "get romantic" as you say so he KNOWS not to use that with me or he'd be putting his waders on but not to go fishing in! LOL.....and Crabby baby.....ty for the compliments on LA and MS and TX women......I have lived in all three states so I guess I'm tripple lucky! Have a great day men!<br />LEAH :cool:
